After a rebrand in 2024 and a refocus on our family audience we were dellightedto have such a successful year. From five times the entries in the dog show to the extremely popular falconry displays by the recycled racehorse falconry team and live music all weekend, the entire team from committee through to our wonderful volunteers all had an incredible time.

Behind the Scenes
Behind the scenes of our wonderful two day show is an amazing team and in order to produce such a great event the committee work year round and on site the week before and the week afterwards! The setup and pack down periods actually take longer than the show itself currently as our team put in all the infrastructure into what are normally farm fields! From ensuring there is running water to lighting towers, power generators and of course all of the marquees, arenas and other structures.
Regardless of the weather the deadline for setup cannot be pushed back and so it is all hands on deck espcially in the setup period. The pack down period also has pressures of course as everyone is a volunteer and has either a job or their own business to get back to as well!
The Fun & Excitement Stage
Once the gates open this is when all the additional volunteers really come into their own. Managing a show of this size whether it is two days like this year or three days as it will be in 2025 really relies on its volunteers. We are incredibily luck to have an army of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds including actually some servicing members of the army that helped with car park duties for us over the weekend.
Even though it can be hard work in many ways it is all a fun filled weekend. Getting to enjoy the show while supporting the show involves lots of different tasks of which every one os essential. One of the wonderful things we are extremely proud of is just how tidy the showground has been and that is thanks to our wonderful visitors but also our amazingly dedicated volunteers picking up any rubbish and dealing with full rubbish sacks throughout the weekend.

Join Our Successful Year Next Year & Get Involved!
After the successf of this year we are expanding in 2025 with a bigger show in new dates! If you would like to join us next year over the August bank Holiday when we will become a three day show then do reach out to us and let us know. We are currently looking for additional sponsors and we will be introducing some exicitng sponsor benefits as a thank you for those that support the show. We would also love to gain additional crafters, trade, exhibitors and entertainment for 2025 as we aim to be even bigger and even better than 2024!
