As part of our continued commitment to supporting local community events, we were delighted to make a £250 donation in June to St Mark’s Church in Swindon to help fund their much-loved St Benedict’s Beer Festival.
Held on Saturday 12th July, the festival brought together the local community for a relaxed afternoon and evening of good company, great drinks, and fantastic live music. Visitors enjoyed a brilliant selection of 10 beers and 8 ciders on tap, alongside soft drinks for those taking it easy.
The event was a huge success, drawing in people from across Swindon to enjoy the summer sunshine and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere that St Mark’s is known for. Events like these play such an important role in bringing people together, supporting local causes, and keeping community spirit alive, something we at the Dauntsey Festival of Transport are proud to champion.
We’re always thrilled to help local events like this thrive, and we look forward to seeing what St Mark’s Church has planned for next year!
