Every year, the Dauntsey Festival of Transport & Country Show proudly offers free charity pitches to help incredible causes raise awareness and funds with our visitors. It’s one of the ways we stay true to our roots as a not-for-profit, community-driven event, using our platform to give back to those who make a real difference locally and beyond.
In 2025, we were thrilled to welcome a fantastic range of charities and community groups to the showground, each bringing something unique to our event and engaging visitors in inspiring ways.
Our 2025 Charity Pitch Holders
- The RWB Shed – A wonderful local community group encouraging creativity, connection, and wellbeing through shared projects and friendly conversation.
- Help for Heroes – Supporting our wounded veterans and their families, helping them rebuild their lives after service.
- RAFA (Royal Air Forces Association) – Providing vital support to current and former members of the RAF and their families.
- Wiltshire Council Fostering Team – Sharing information about fostering and inspiring more people to open their homes and hearts to children in care.
- Wiltshire Wildlife Trust – Educating visitors about local wildlife and conservation efforts to protect Wiltshire’s natural environment.
- Chrissies Owls – Captivating visitors with their stunning rescued owls while raising awareness about bird welfare and education.
- Atwell Wilson Car Museum – A local gem preserving the history of motoring and bringing a nostalgic touch to the show with their displays.
These organisations helped make the 2025 event extra special — from hosting engaging displays and activities to meeting hundreds of visitors who stopped by to learn, donate, and show their support.
Why We Do It
Our festival has always been about more than just vehicles, it’s about community, connection, and compassion. By offering free charity spaces, we give good causes the chance to:
